Rob Petrie has more than 30 years of industry experience leading technology teams to deliver solutions for clinical research. Working as the CIO Rob is responsible for technology and innovation strategy that drive efficiency, quality, and service differentiation within Ora Clinical.
Rob started his career working at Pharmaco LSR in the United Kingdom. In 1995 he transferred to the USA leading IT teams in the Pharmaco Phase 1 Clinic, the Bioanalytical, GMP and Clinical laboratories. When Pharmaco was acquired by PPD, Rob took a leadership role within PPD leading Technology Project Management and Systems development across the organization. In 2015 Rob was promoted to Chief Technology Officer within PPD responsible for leading more than 700 technology professionals across a large CRO with responsibility for delivering technology strategy and innovation across the organization.
Rob holds a MBA degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of East Anglia (UK) in Computer Science and Quality Assurance.
